In The News

The Arkansas Physical Therapy Association (ArPTA) recently awarded Dr. Leah Lowe, PT, DPT, Ph.D., PCS of Pediatrics Plus with the Distinguished Service Award for her significant contributions to physical therapy in Arkansas. Lowe received the award during ArPTA’s OPTimize Conference and Exhibition, which connects professionals across Arkansas in an effort to better provide evidence-based, high-quality care to state residents.

In 2010, Dr. Lowe volunteered to be the ArPTA Programming Committee Chair. Since then, she has pursued and completed her Ph.D. at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in Conway. She has been instrumental in the coordination and execution of the ArPTA OPTimize Conference, including finding speakers for the annual event. This work, along with her clinical practice at Pediatrics Plus and her teaching, research and service activities as a faculty member at UCA have made a meaningful impact on physical therapy in Arkansas
