What you will do:

This position provides preparatory skill development for administrative positions/opportunities in site processes, decision-making, and team development within a high feedback environment and assists in the development and completion of special projects assigned for projected company needs, either independently or collaboratively.  

  • Displays ability to initiate active problem solving and follow through to continually improve the environment, culture, and vision of Pediatrics Plus
  • Exhibits ability to cast vision for the company and its values. Understands and models the company vision through daily interaction with the Pediatrics Plus team, clients, and parents 
  • Completes all assigned special projects efficiently, thoroughly, and within timeframes allotted for the project 
  • Engages and contributes to strategic and streamline planning for special projects during collaborative meetings 
  • Attends and is an active participant in weekly Leadership meetings 
  • Follows Leadership meeting schedule established in LEAD program 
  • Attends and is an active participant in weekly all director meetings 
  • Prepares for and participates in One-on-One meeting with LEAD program director per established schedule 
  • Communicates any needs or concerns with LEAD program director 
  • Upholds and incorporates the core values, vision, mission and philosophy of Pediatrics Plus into all job responsibilities 
  • Displays an understanding of the leadership and management style of Pediatrics Plus 
  • Provides therapy evaluation and treatment services within licensed discipline when requested to children ages 0-21 years as prescribed by a physician 
  •  Completes all requirements listed in the appropriate therapy discipline's job description when functioning as a therapist 
  • Travels willingly to all Pediatric Plus locations if indicated to complete assigned projects and/or enhanced training 
  • Assists with marketing events, as needed and/or requested

What you have:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people 
  • Must be able to work with children birth to age 21 and their families 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Basic computer skills which includes a working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and internet software 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence 
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of families or employees of organization 
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals 
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form 
  • Ability to represent the company in a confident, persuasive and positive manner 
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work under stress and respond quickly in emergency situations 
  • Ability to work effectively within a complex matrix organization 

 

Education/Certification: 

  • Graduate of an accredited university with a Bachelor's degree 
  • Preference of a Master's degree in a rehabilitation related field 
  • Current license and certification for rehabilitation related field in employee's state of residence 

 

Experience/Knowledge: 

  • Minimum of three (3) years broad clinical experience is preferred  

 

Physical Demands: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle, lift, feel, and reach. The employee is frequently required to stand and stoop, twist, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to maintain regular and punctual attendance. The employee is required to complete tasks in a timely manner.
